The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Marysville CA Area to find a Quality Manager for their leadership team at the plant. This person will be responsible for the entire Quality & Sanitation departments including processes, products, and personnel. The right candidate needs to have experience overseeing both departments!
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage the quality assurance program at the plant and will oversee all quality and sanitation personnel (salaried and hourly) at the plant.
- Assures all products are made safely and adhere to all food safety and quality guidelines at the company and government levels
- Responsible for food safety and employee safety at all times
- Partners with production, warehouse, maintenance, and HR partners on all product and employee needs and concerns
- Maintain a solid relationship with government officials, being a liaison to the representatives and the plant
- Be the subject matter expert on all things quality assurance and sanitation and constantly look for ways to improve the plant, processes, training, and food safety
- Perform internal audits of all sanitation-related audits for the facility
- Oversee all training for sanitation team members
- Responsible for reporting out KPIs to senior leadership daily, weekly, and monthly
- This role requires in-depth knowledge of sanitation and quality practices
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance Experience
- 3+ years of Sanitation Experience
- Experience overseeing salaried & hourly workforce
- Experience in food, packaging, beverage, plastics industries
