About the Firm:
An AmLaw Firm in San Antonio seeking a talented Labor & Employment Associate to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counsel and advice on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including employee benefits, ERISA, retirement plans, welfare plans, and executive compensation
- Draft and review plan documents, amendments, and government filings
- Advise clients on compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws
- Represent clients in administrative proceedings and litigation
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to provide comprehensive legal services
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- 2-7 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on employee benefits and ERISA
- Strong understanding of retirement plan, welfare plan, and executive compensation laws and regulations
- Experience drafting plan documents and amendments, and with government filings, submissions, and correction program actions
- Excellent writing, communication, and legal research skills
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Licensed in Texas
Benefits:
- Base salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 annually
