MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Now my client is recruiting a strong Maintenance Manager to join their team in Sumas, WA. In this role you would be responsible for a team of technicians, electricians, supervisors and planners and ensuring the day-to-day maintenance of the facility and ensuring optimum availability of equipment and machinery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (BSME is preferred).
- 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a continuous manufacturing operation strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years (prefer at least 10 years) of Industrial Maintenance experience.
- Financial understanding of overall plant performance metrics at minimum cost.
- Experience with repair and maintenance of process equipment.
- Ability to conduct assessments, audits and evaluations to measure progress.
- Analytical, data-driven problem-solving and action planning skills.
- Ability to make independent and sound decisions.
- Must have a proven track record in improving KPIs (i.e. OEE) Metrics as a successful maintenance leader with strong trouble shooting and RC/CA skills.
- Predictive/Preventative Maintenance experience
- Leadership experience--successfully managing others in a cross-functional environment: setting clear expectations and holding other accountable, managing via KPIs, motivates others.
