POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful and timely execution of assigned projects while ensuring safety, profitability, and adherence to quality standards. This role involves leading project planning, managing budgets, work plans, and overseeing all aspects of project management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety:
- Ensure site safety compliance and adherence to safety manuals.
- Report utility line damages and maintain OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular safety checks, including daily toolbox talks.
Payments/Financial:
- Review project quantities and handle monthly estimate reviews.
- Process estimates, change orders, and subcontractor invoices promptly.
- Report extra work and ensure accurate project financial forecasting.
Payroll and Equipment:
- Ensure accuracy in payroll and equipment tracking.
- Manage petty cash and prepare monthly cost forecasts.
Scheduling:
- Manage material deliveries, production schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
- Communicate schedule updates to clients and ensure timely execution.
Planning:
- Maintain organized project records and ensure detailed project scheduling.
- Oversee thorough planning and execution of project activities.
Supervision:
- Lead the Project Team, ensuring tasks are completed effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. Degree in Engineering with 10+ years of related experience in heavy construction (contract value of $10M+) preferred.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to manage projects, collaborate with teams, and meet client expectations.
