Role: Blockchain Developer with Rust Programming
Location: Charlotte, NC/NYC, NY
Day 1 Hybrid Onsite
As a Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-performance blockchain protocols and applications. You will work within a dynamic team to create decentralized applications (DApps), contribute to open-source projects, and push the boundaries of what's possible with blockchain technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Rust code for blockchain development.
- Develop blockchain solutions and protocols using the Cosmos SDK.
- Implement and maintain features in blockchain-based projects.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient smart contracts.
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain high standards of code quality.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to identify and solve blockchain challenges.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and Rust programming.
- Contribute to the architecture and design decisions for blockchain systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Document new solutions as well as maintaining that of existing ones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer with strong proficiency in Rust programming.
- Extensive experience with blockchain technology and a deep understanding of the Cosmos SDK.
- Experience in developing blockchain protocols, smart contracts, consensus algorithms, and DApps.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, including asymmetric (pub/priv key), symmetric, hash functions, and encryption/signatures.
- Familiarity with peer-to-peer networks.
- Knowledge of coding languages including C++, Java, and Python is a plus.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience with Tendermint Core.
- Knowledge of additional blockchain platforms and technologies.
- Experience with DevOps tools and cloud services.
- Understanding of financial markets and FinTech.
