Program Manager - Lifecycle Management

Program Manager with success leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams focused on data and infrastructure migration within Azure environments, as well as managing a delivery plan for new API services. This role requires a seasoned professional with 5-7 years of experience in program management, particularly within the health insurance sector, and a background in IT project management.
This program manager should showcase the ability to handle complex and large-scale responsibilities, demonstrating their leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and ability to drive successful outcomes.
Role and Responsibility:
- Strong understanding of how to plan and drive cross functional teams while articulating milestones within program increments within technical and non-technical organizations.
- Plan project requirements, milestones, and deliverables for initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Ability to prioritize tasks and initiatives based on their alignment with the program’s objectives and their impact on overall success.
- Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to establish trust and rapport by being transparent, reliable, and demonstrating a commitment to a long-term collaborative relationship.
- Ability to understand and adhere to compliance with data privacy regulations and security best practices while managing delivery plans.
- Successfully led projects within an agile and non-agile environment overseeing dates and deliverables.
- Highly organized, clear and effective communicator who has successfully reported to executive leadership. Understanding, driving, and communicating project and program success criteria is essential in this role.
- Ability to understand and portray complex technical principles and information across various groups in the organization. Ensures transparency and alignment with stakeholders across various business units.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges for initiatives.
- Conduct thorough assessments at the of the program to identify potential risks. Ability to understood issues, quantify impact of scope and how they have built a step-by-step approach through mitigation.
- Transparency and forthcoming about all scope items and risks throughout project is a necessity.
- Needs to understand and has successfully been through a change management process with cross functional team and leadership.
- Needs to be proactive with an adaptive approach that can establish clear goals and priorities. A clear understanding and past success of a change management process is needed.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in program management, IT project management, and web application development, preferably within the health insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of health insurance processes, regulations, and customer expectations.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
