We are seeking an experienced Media Planner to join our publishing client. As a Media Planner, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing multi-tiered media plans. This role is freelance to start (30-40hrs per week), with the goal being temp-to-perm. You must be NY based and it's expected to come into the office 2-3x/week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Join brainstorms and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and effective media plans in response to RFPs
- Utilize your expertise in digital, social, branded content, events, and print to create well-rounded and strategic media plans
- Ensure efficient eCPMs and strategic packaging to maximize the impact of media campaigns
- Develop timelines and manage the execution of media plans to ensure timely delivery of deliverables
- Continuously monitor and analyze media performance to make data-driven recommendations for optimization
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in media planning, preferably in an agency setting
- Strong understanding of media planning for digital, social, branded content, events, and print
- Experience in creating timelines and managing the execution of media plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proven track record of delivering successful media campaigns
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Operative or other media planning tools
- Knowledge of the latest trends and developments in the media industry
- Ability to think creatively and outside the box to develop innovative media solutions for clients
