Reports to Chief Engineer
Overview The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining an attractive, safe, and fully operable facility located within the 2400 Market Street Complex, requiring property maintenance knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all technical maintenance operations while ensuring a safe secure and comfortable environment for members, customers, and employees. This candidate will be responsible to complete work promptly and professionally with limited disruption to guests.
Responsibilities
Operate workplace management systems
Oversee all fire alarm and other life safety systems and equipment
Maintain all building systems and infrastructure
Execute all aspects of maintenance/engineering operations
Keep Chief Engineer apprised of all operational issues daily
Maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information
Follow grooming and uniform standards established for this role
Work as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers
Ensure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environment
Perform all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience actively serving in a facilities maintenance/engineering role in a hotel or private club environment
Technical experience in building trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
Good problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergency situations
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments and multi-task
Possess good computer skills
Punctuality and regular attendance.
Must be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, and energetic
