As they expand our offerings, they are excited to launch our Snowflake practice, aimed at leveraging the power of cloud-based data warehousing to drive transformation. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Snowflake Business Unit leader to accelerate the growth of this new practice.
Role Overview
As the Snowflake BU leader, you will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of their Snowflake practice. You will lead project delivery, manage client relationships, and drive the adoption of Snowflake solutions across their customer portfolio. Your leadership will be critical in shaping their offerings and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Oversee the successful delivery of Snowflake projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of Snowflake consultants and data engineers. Provide guidance and support to promote professional growth and knowledge sharing.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored Snowflake solutions.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to define the vision and strategy for the Snowflake practice, identifying growth opportunities and market trends.
- Sales Support: Assist in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations, to articulate the value of Snowflake solutions.
- Best Practices: Establish and promote best practices for Snowflake implementation and usage within the organization and among clients.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project performance metrics and client satisfaction, using feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in data consulting, with a focus on cloud data platforms, ideally Snowflake.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Client-Centric: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful client engagement and relationship management.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze client needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
