About The Position
Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PT, Monday to Friday
Location: Carlsbad ,CA (Onsite during training and Hybrid upon Manager approval)
Position Summary
The Medicare Advantage (MA) Territory Account Executive is responsible for achieving strategic sales objectives by bringing New Patients aboard. MA Account Executives identify all strategic marketplace opportunities by prospecting, engaging new referral sources, effectively creating and managing long-term relationships with referring partners, and developing and accomplishing strategic goals. The MA Account Executive manages their day to day independently to achieve established goals. The MA Account Executive will work within the scope of responsibilities as dictated below with guidance and support from the Sales Operations leadership team.
Essential Functions
- Achieves assigned sales goals and targets.
- Prospects and develops new client relationships within the defined geography or territory. Develops a network of valuable connections.
- Consults / communicates effectively / continues professional relationships with existing clients, referring partners, or any vested parties.
- Develops and accomplishes strategic growth goals.
- Develops and delivers effective Sales Presentations.
- Effectively resolves sales related challenges.
- Makes actionable and insightful recommendations for enhancements.
- Fosters relationships with new referral sources who offer present day referring opportunities.
- Connects with existing referral sources to maintain relationships and encourage referrals to ensure goal achievement.
- Stays in tune and abreast of industry trends to ensure growth.
- Effectively communicates updates / opportunities to management.
- Exemplifies a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
- Receives orders from Insurance agents and brokers.
- Maintains accurate and detailed records in company systems.
- Adapts quickly to frequent process changes and improvements.
- Is reliable, engaged, and provides feedback as to improve processes and policies.
- Attends all department, team, and company meetings as required.

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of related sales experience in a healthcare related industry
- Extensive industry contacts
- Demonstrated success in meeting goals and objectives
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology; basic knowledge of diabetes
- Basic knowledge of medical insurance and/or DME
- Proficiency in basic math and business calculations
- Working knowledge of computer/data entry with the ability to learn new systems
- Intermediate level of MS Office proficiency: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel; territory coverage may consist of multiple states – up to 60% travel may be required

Pay Range and Compensation Package
Pay ranges may vary depending on location. The general hiring range for this position is $66,560 yearly salary + uncapped Commissions Actual compensation depends on education, experience, and relevant skills. In addition, benefits include:
