Job Summary
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing the formulation, negotiation, amendments process and maintenance of all contracts between the Firm and its counterparties in its region.
Main Activities
• When deal sheet is received, issuing standardized outbound contracts, per terms of the trade, for signature and posting
• Checking incoming and outgoing contracts for errors (in particular price, quantity, loading data, grade and counterparty) and open clauses
• Liaising with matrix operations to verify and cross-check contract reflects the obligations (price, date, quantity etc.) of the deal
• Where necessary, obtaining trader confirmation/details of contract

• Be comfortable undertaking new concepts and ideas associated with a fast-paced, dynamic business
• Language skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus given the Firm's LatAm dealings
• Be curious, creative and up for a challenge; earn the trust of others by continuously demonstrating the ability to follow-through
• Effectively communicate with other department / external counterparties (via phone, email, and in-person)
• Work effectively within a team envrionment
