MIG Welder
Pay: $18.00+ Depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (Must be able to work Saturdays and OT)- There are 9-10 hours of OT available. They are currently starting at 5:00 AM.
Position Description:
Perform MIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required to fabricate and repair equipment and plant components.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand welding requirements and specifications.
Prepare materials and surfaces for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting components together.
Inspect welded joints and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Position Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of experience
Must read a tape measure and a blueprint
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing PPE (safety glasses, Mask, Steel toeshoes)
Team player
Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to day-to-day changes
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
