Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal counsel on business formation, choice of entity, and governance.
- Act as outside general counsel for clients across diverse industries, helping them navigate complex business and legal challenges.
- Lead and advise on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
- Assist clients with corporate governance, commercial contracts, and transaction negotiations.
- Guide clients through private equity transactions, employee stock ownership plans, and succession planning.
- Stay current with industry trends and legal developments to provide cutting-edge advice to their clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Extensive experience in corporate law, with a focus on corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- A proven track record of managing sophisticated corporate matters and providing practical, business-focused legal advice.
- Strong client development skills and an existing book of business.
- Admission to the Florida Bar or ability to obtain admission.
