The Assistant Packaging Designer will support the Packaging Design team throughout the design process for packaging and display concepts, adhering to licensed brand guidelines from initial concept to the creation of finalized, brand-approved "ready for press" files. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on underwear, loungewear, and intimates packaging for a variety of renowned national brands!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Packaging Designer and Packaging & Corporate Creative Services Team to conceptualize, develop, and execute design strategies spanning both print and digital platforms
- Lead the team to produce and finalize packaging and display mechanicals to "ready for press" (RFP) standards
- Contribute to photo shoots when necessary, ensuring alignment with design objectives
- Demonstrate exceptional time management skills to consistently deliver top-tier work within the constraints of fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve collective goals and business objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in related field
- Experience in packaging design, and POS displays
- Strong sense of design, typography, and color management
- Strong creativity, conceptualization, execution, organization, and design skills
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Experience creating “rfp” (ready for print) mechanicals a plus
- Experience with PLM and Product Management software a plus
- Experience with licensed branding a plus
Annual salary: $50,000
