Job Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of Motion Industries, working directly with our client at their site. This role requires a highly organized and trustworthy individual with a strong customer service orientation. You'll manage the storeroom, handle product inquiries, process orders, and maintain communication between our branch and the client.
Work Schedule: 4 days on-site at the client’s plant, 1 day in the office, flexible 8-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Provide face-to-face customer service, addressing inquiries such as part number differences, product counts, and delivery ETAs.
- Storeroom Management: Oversee and maintain the storeroom, ensuring products are correctly stored, tracked, and delivered.
- Order Management: Review, correct, and process incoming purchase orders (POs) and generate quotes (average of 5-20 quotes/day).
- Communication: Handle 10-20 calls per day, check and respond to emails, and update the customer's system with order and delivery statuses.
- Reporting: Run open order reports and follow up on any outstanding orders.
Training & Development
- Initial training will take place in the office for about a month to familiarize you with the system and processes.
- Ongoing mentorship and support are available, ensuring you grow and succeed in the role.

Qualifications
- Experience in a similar field or relevant industry is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Previous experience in trucking or related industries is a plus.
