Role Overview: As a Project Manager with our client, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing various projects within the insurance domain. You will be an integral part of a four-person team, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, execution, and closure phases, adhering to established timelines and budgets.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring proactive resolution.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management,
- Past experience doing project management within LIFE Insurance or HEALTH Insurance industries is required. (sorry, healthcare industry pros, the stress is on insurance)
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- PMBOK concepts, processes, knowledge, familiarization, etc. PMP certification is a plus.
- Must currently reside in the Austin, Texas area.
Location: This position is based in Austin, Texas, with a hybrid work model (three days in office).
