Technical Customer Service/Sales Advisor
TenPlus Systems, North Carolina’s premier technology specialist, is currently seeking a dynamic Customer Service & Sales Advisor to join our growing computer consulting, sales, and technical service organization. With over 29 years in the Apple and Lenovo Authorized Sales and Service, TenPlus Systems is poised to become North Carolina’s most recognized name in business-to-business, consumer and prosumer technology services.
When customers visit TenPlus, you’ll put your own passions to work and help customers discover what’s wrong with their device, help them make a well-informed decision about new equipment purchases, repairs, upgrades or whether its time replace. If you have a talent for hands-on problem solving, you can address some customers’ technical issues at the front desk or offer one to one training as a value added service.
At TenPlus Systems, you will maintain the customer’s trust as a skilled advisor by giving excellent advice and customer service on both Apple and Lenovo products. You use your amazing listening and people skills to concierge a customer down the right path will leveraging the skills and capabilities your team.
You will be responsible for staying up to date on new technologies and communicating with the customers on how these technologies will benefit them. You will offer advice on performance upgrades and accompanying accessories that will further improve the customer’s experience with their Apple and Lenovo products. You will keep your product knowledge up to date while independently educating your team members about upgrades and new products.
Your work hours at TenPlus will be more business oriented, in the range of M-F 8am to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 3pm.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive customers, qualify, and help diagnose their technical issues, document, and check in their device for complete diagnostic and repair.
- Execute our transactional workflow including SROs, orders & customer billing.
- Take and make phone calls to and from customers, scheduling them for appointments, updating them on repair status, etc.
- Communicate in layman’s terms complex technology to customers in person and over the phone.
- Upon completion of our services, perform check out duties including securing final payment and answering any final questions about the customers repair or transaction.
- Perform quick front desk fix repairs when appropriate.
- Provide product knowledge on all Apple and Lenovo devices, advising customers to the best solution to fit their needs.
- Recommend accessories and services that enhance the customer’s experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong interest in technology, particularly Apple products with the ability to learn new products and features.
- Strong people skills and the ability to quickly form relationships with customers.
- Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent follow-through with customers and teammates.
- Professional appearance.
- Takes initiative and doesn’t need constant instruction.
- Must be able to multi-task and manage time amongst clients and transactions.
- Flexibility and ability to bounce between customer arrivals, phone calls and projects quickly.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working in this high-speed, fast paced and ever-changing field
- 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting Mac OSX, iOS and Windows devices
- Ability to advise, recommend and sale computer systems, accessories and services
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline-oriented environment
- A fun, customer-focused attitude

Base Pay: $16 to $18 per hour and commensurable with experience + Overtime + Bonuses
