The Health Insurance Specialist/Client Service Specialist will provide administrative support to the Sales team by providing exceptional customer service and client support. The Client Service Specialist will also assist Account Managers with reporting, documentation, and analysis.
Please note, this role will be a direct hire for a 6 month project.
Job Duties:
- Support Key Accounts by attending board meetings, managing incoming meeting requests, and assisting with projects as needed.
- Support Sales and critical accounts with administrative tasks: process New Group Case Reports and send out renewals, Experience Reports, Schedule A's, Sales Reports, Performance Guarantees, packet requests, etc.
- Coordinate and participate in benefit fairs/open enrollment presentations.
- Establish strong working relationships with brokers. Appoint brokers and process appointments through the appropriate State Insurance Office.
- Update Dynamics CRM and retain critical documentation. Analyze account information and make suggestions and recommendations as deemed necessary.
- Problem-solve various group challenges that arise and balance being an advocate for both the Company and the account.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and three years of experience in customer service, client relationship management, or sales OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with employee benefits either working for an insurance carrier, broker, or third-party administrator.
- Ability to travel overnight and work extended hours during critical times, dependent upon business needs.
- Must have a valid driver's license for the operation of a motor vehicle and possess an acceptable driving record
- Experience in the healthcare or insurance field preferred.
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM Database Management.
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- The ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Work harmoniously and independently in a diverse, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or problem approaches.
