Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with Sales, Trading, Operations, and Finance teams to implement innovative business solutions and enhance platform efficiency.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, ensuring iterative value delivery to stakeholders.
- Engage with global colleagues and technologists to enhance platform resiliency and scalability.
- Provide Level 3 support to platform users during regional hours.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in Java development (Java 8+), with a deep understanding of enterprise-scale systems and strong problem-solving abilities.
- A keen interest in emerging development tools and technologies, with enthusiasm for both technology and business domains.
- Experience with HTML 5.0 and Angular is advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic SQL.
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration platforms.
- Solid architectural knowledge and experience working with frameworks and distributed environments.
- Pragmatic problem-solving skills within a front office environment.
- Prior experience in financial services.
Desired Skills (Not Essential):
- Experience with HTML5 technologies, Angular, Typescript, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Scala, C#/WPF.
- Python programming skills.
- Experience with sales and trading platforms or middle office trade processing systems in Equities, FX, Fixed Income, or Derivatives domains.
- Proficiency in Excel.
