About Edia
Edia is a fast-growing startup that works with 100+ school districts across the country to improve outcomes for math and attendance. Founded in 2020 by top engineers from Silicon Valley, Edia now supports the largest urban school districts in the country (e.g. Fulton, Loudoun, Palm Beach) as well as the smallest, most remote 1-room schools in upper Alaska. We've raised $10M+ from VCs like Felicis, Susa, Inspired, and 8VC.
Role Description
This is a full-time role that requires extensive travel. You will work with our district partners to:
- Develop and schedule professional development plans
- Train teachers and administrators on our math and attendance program in-person or via Zoom
- Proactively reach out to users based on their engagement with our products
- Consult with teachers and campuses one-on-one to ensure they are getting value from our program
Qualifications
We're looking for a smart, passionate, organized, and responsible implementation specialist with a background teaching math, using the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum, and working in K-12 public school administration. Specifically, applicants must have:
- Experience teaching secondary math (6-12th grade) at a K-12 school
- Experience teaching with Illustrative Mathematics – ideally an IM certification
- Experience working in school administration (e.g. principal, district coordinator or executive, Asst. Supt, etc.)
- Passionate about our mission (i.e. using technology to radically improve K-12 education)
- Willing to travel extensively
