Our client, a leading insurance company, is hiring a Release Change Analyst, on a W2 contract basis.

Work Location: Warren, NJ - hybrid - 3 days a week on site.
Summary:
Primary focus of this position will be to ensure IT production release changes are compliant with SOX and the client's change management controls. The Release Change Analyst will need to use analytical and IT coordination skills to drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist/ guide teams to complete and submit compliance checklists and required artifacts on-time for their IT production releases
- Responsible to review & approve IT production release change request
- Evaluate the timing of releases for potential business impact/interruption
- Analyze for potential conflicts with other planned IT releases change
- Ensure that applicable production readiness requirements have been reviewed and approved prior to the change request by Production Operations
- Facilitate communications related to the implementation and validation of production changes
- Problem management coordination supporting resolution of production problems generated by IT releases changes
- Support request from internal/external audit and technical risk officers
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years relevant experience
- IT compliance/risk a plus
- Previous IT project management and SDLC experience
- Insurance / Financial Services IT
- Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Highly organized with an attention to detail
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent MS Excel and Presentation skills
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
- Service-now, Jira & Confluence experience
- Ability to multitask and comfortable with ambiguity
