What will your day look like? As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst you will:
- Develop and design applications to provide business teams with quality solutions.
- Research, identify, resolve, and document technical issues with Hyperion applications. Offer guidance and technical leaderships to the Development and Operations teams.
- Spearhead design of enhancements and new product features, working to drive a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with support team and offer expertise to troubleshoot technical and business issues effectively.
- Collaborate with QA to create test plans. Optimize and monitor system performance and provide timely resolution to emergency production issues, questions, and defects.
- Modify existing software to provide new functionality, correct errors, improve performance, or adapt for new integrations.
- Resolve HFM functional and technical issues and database issues by working with technical staff, functional users, and extended support organizations.
You will be a good fit for the Senior Financial Systems Analyst role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 8 or more years of development experience with Oracle Hyperion suite, especially FDMEE, HFM, and EPBCS.
- Strong experience designing the workflow and metadata management and design in HFM
- Experience with cloud and onprem Hyperion applications
- Proficiency in at least one programming language as well as VBscripts
- Experience reviewing design documents and recommending optimal principles and approaches to implementation and business partners. Strong communication skills.
- Strong understanding of techno functional areas and concepts of TB, P and L statements, GL, and balance sheets.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or Oracle.
- Accounting background strongly preferred
