Environmental Health and Safety ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to help and support the department.
Day in the life of the EHS Admin Assist will be:
- Work on PowerPoint trainings for the weekly safety meetings
- Administrative work such as creating accounts for new or current employees, assign trainings to employees
- Assist with the EHS standards they are currently working on throughout the company
- Assist (Safety Technician) with administrative work (updating employee accounts, making rosters for each meeting and emailing those out, checking and opening mail).
- The candidate will report to the EHS manager (the EHS manager focuses all of her energy on safety training)
The candidate must have strong PowerPoint skills as the will create and put together the safety presentations
· Needs someone who is technically savvy - they will need to go into the on-line safety platform and upload the presentations to that platform
Requirements:
- Degree and EHS support experience preferred
- BILINGUAL IN SPANISH IS A BIG HELP
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative and environmental health and safety roles
- Able to work 7-5 schedule with half days on Friday (after training)
- Strong Excel
- Strong PowerPoint skills as the will create and put together the safety presentations
