Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Process Engineer to join our Corporate Headquarters based in Paris IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic injection molding. NAL will provide relocation assistance to anyone outside of the Southern Illinois area.
Your Priorities
While working within the fast paced, automotive environment, provide design and production support regarding material processing and analysis, equipment, design guidelines, and material performance in new lighting products and future developments
Serve as a technical liaison for customer and national/international material suppliers
Educate and advise launch teams of material, process, and equipment capability and performance for product designs
Assists design and development groups in regard to selecting new materials and processes for introduction into new lamp programs
Your Background
BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline plus 2 to 4 years of engineering experience in a process related position
Analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of standards such as Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and/or American Standard Technical Methods (ASTM)
