The Role
We are looking to fill a full-time, entry-level Recruiting and Operations Associate. This role is based in Boston, MA; you will be required to come to our downtown office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and work Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from home. Responsibilities will be split between digital and in-person recruiting work, as well as operational and administrative responsibilities. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Marketing Communications.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide firm-wide recruitment support for prospective job-seeking candidates and educators. This work will include detailed-oriented digital recruiting (e.g., LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed) as well as more traditional, in-person recruiting work in terms of interviewing candidates in-person and online.
- Post jobs on all recruiting platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Indeed, and Handshake.
- Communicate both written and verbally with candidates and college campus partners.
- Play an integral part in recruiting event planning and execution both virtual and in-person. Some travel is expected.
- Enhance processes to ensure seamless candidate experience through each stage of the recruitment process.
- Respond to candidate inquiries via email and phone.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Recruitment Coordinator to fulfill duties in an efficient and timely manner.
- Operations responsibilities will be administrative and clerical in nature, including database work, answering phones, inputting candidate information, technology assistance.
- This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Marketing Communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Strong academic credentials preferred.
- An ideal candidate has 1-3 years of post-undergraduate work experience.
- Recruiting experience in a professional services environment preferred.
- Able to juggle multiple assignments at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player, flexibility to contribute wherever needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred, including Excel and database proficiency. Experience with Canva and Adobe Products a plus!
- Creative and strategic mindset with a passion for taking initiative.
