We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining product vision, prioritizing, and delivering innovative patient service solutions that enhance the patient experience and streamline customer processes. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, development teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure our products meet user needs and business goals.
A typical day in the life of a Program Owner will include but not be limited to the following:
Product Vision and Strategy:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with company goals.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that reflects customer needs, market trends, and technological advancements.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
- Engage with stakeholders, including healthcare providers and internal teams to gather requirements and feedback.
- Ensure alignment between product development and business objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related communications.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on product status, progress, and upcoming releases.
Backlog Management:
- Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the development team is working on the most valuable features.
- Work with Business Analysts to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are clear and concise.
Product Development:
- Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces and workflows.
- Conduct market research and user interviews to understand patient needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze competitive products and industry trends to inform product decisions.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance against them.
- Collect and analyze user feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure products comply with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the healthcare, patient services industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare processes and patient services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
- Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for delivering high-quality products.
- Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
- Adaptable and open to feedback, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
- We are located in the River Ridge Commerce Center at 150 Hilton Drive, Jeffersonville, IN. You must be willing to work in this location; PharmaCord does reimburse for tolls if applicable, at the frequent user rate. This rate is applied after 40 trips per month (valued at $678.60 per year)
