Must Haves:
- 6+ months in a technical support or service center role
- Experience with Windows 10 and laptop installation including windows drivers
- Experience installing, testing and supporting peripherals such as scanners and printers
- Experience with MS Office products such as Teams, Outlook, Office 365 online and Excel
- Knowledge of active directory for user credentials management and password reset
- Knowledge of multi-factor authentication and basic cyber security risks and mitigation including phishing, password standards and security
Insight Global is looking to hire 18 technical support individuals to support polling stations in the Boulder and surrounding areas during the elections. This person will be responsible for setting up polling station equipment, maintaining and troubleshooting the equipment during the elections, and tearing down any equipment post-election. Equipment includes Windows laptops, soft-phones, and peripheral devices including label printers, network printers, barcode scanners, and routers. This person will respond to both in-person and virtual technical issues from state election teams and members of the community that will be using the polling stations. The technical support specialist should have experience with Windows and O365 troubleshooting, user account management, password resets, as well as physical desktop and printer troubleshooting. We will also provide 4 days of training starting on October 8th to train on Vote Center technology, key support services, and communication protocols.
We are looking to bring on 18 Technical Support Technicians to join this team. This project is slated for a 4-week duration from October 8th - November 5th and is expected for each person to commit between 20-40 hours per week based on the needs of the project. Pay is $22/hr W2. Benefits and 401k through Insight Global are offered on day 31 of any contract, so likely will not be eligible for this contract duration.
