Salary: Negotiable + Annual Bonus
Hours: Full-time, M-F (7-10 hour days - must be flexible!)
Job Summary: As the Patient Access Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of Patient Access functions. Serving as a liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and healthcare facilities, you will uphold the commitment to exceptional patient experiences while ensuring operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and uphold the Model AIDET guidelines in all patient interactions, ensuring adherence to patient experience expectations.
- Oversee Quality Assurance (QA) processes for registrations across all registration areas.
- Perform patient registration duties as needed to minimize wait times.
- Address patient complaints promptly and effectively.
- Supervise and maintain employee productivity.
- Manage departmental operations reports, FTEs, and operating budgets.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings and in-services for all relevant areas.
- Assume on-call responsibilities to ensure adequate staffing and effective problem-solving.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field required.
- Minimum of three years experience in Patient Access within an acute care setting.
