Full time, onsite role in San Clemente, CA
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are documented
- Reporting to top management on the effectiveness of the quality management system and any need for improvement
- Ensure the promotion of awareness of applicable regulatory requirements and quality management system and any need for improvement
- Conduct research
- Manage quality activities
- Oversees internal audits
- Manages and conducts external customer and supplier audits
- Document Control Contributes to the development of processes and procedures
- Visit customers and suppliers
- Prepare error reports
- Participate in hiring, training and overall direction of the facility
- Oversee the Quality Staff (Quality Engineer and Quality Tech)
Job Requirements:
- BS degree Quality Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing operations (10+ years)
- Experience in the electronic manufacturing industry (PCBs, SMTs)
- Travel is required for various support of projects and tasks
- Experience managing and delegating task to quality teams of 5-10 people
