Our client is a Global Asset Management Firm that has their US HQ in Midtown NYC. They have opened a new role seeking someone for a VP of Payroll & Benefits reporting to SVP of HR. This professional will manage Payroll Operations for North America, has a population of about 500ppl.
This role will report to Head of HR working with Finance, Accounting, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Legal. Their team is a collaborative group as this professional work with executives throughout all of their business team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all US Payroll and Benefits, Payroll Ops including payroll HRIS systems.
- Lead contact for Benefit plan vendors, consultants, 3rd party, firm benefit corporate filings, and worker's comp.
- Develops and improves all compensation-related business processes, requests and reports, with a strong focus on operational efficiency
- Play a key role in the year-end compensation and benefits processes, from budget and accrual to bonus/salary proposal to communication and payroll coordination
- Direct open enrollment and distribute internally to employees
- Ensures internal controls related to payroll processes are functioning as intended and are completed timely and accurately.
- Manage a small team
- Lead the payroll audit
- Coordinate and provide Finance and Accounting Teams with financial data
- Lead process of worker's comp audits, renewals for insurance, PTO, etc
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is Required
- 8+ years of processing full-cycle payroll for US and any experience with South America is a plus
- Experienced with full cycle benefits
- ADP experience is needed
- Knowledge of Accounting is a plus
Our client is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary and discretionary performance bonus, including benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $140,000-175,000 plus bonus.
