We specialize in providing legal services for domestic relations disputes, including dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, post-decree enforcement, and modifications. The firm handles a wide range of cases, from high-value asset division to grandparent visitation and international custody disputes. AFL also offers unbundled representation services.

Role Description and Qualifications
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Family Law Attorney at AFL. The applicant must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice in good standing in Colorado. AFL is seeking an associate with 2-4 years of experience as a family law attorney. The associate will support the managing partner on her caseload and handle their caseload with supervision and support. The candidate should have 1-4 years of litigation experience. Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills are required. The attorney must show a commitment to the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct and maintain a positive reputation in the community. The associate attorney minimum billable requirement is 1440 per year. The position is hybrid, with the ability to work remotely. The role offers a flexible schedule so long as the attorney manages their caseload and responsibilities. The attorney must bill 50 hours of pro bono time each year. Required pro bono hours will be compensated equivalently to billable hours, and count toward the attorney’s billable hour requirements.

Compensation
The compensation structure is commission/performance-based, with anticipated earnings of $80,000.00 to $140,000.00+, depending on experience and performance.
