We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the commercial construction industry, with a proven track record of successful estimating and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including ground-up and vertical builds.
- Conduct thorough site visits, review plans and specifications, and obtain necessary information for estimating.
- Analyze bid proposals and negotiate with subcontractors to secure the best pricing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Blue Beam, Procore, On-Screen Takeoffs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
