Contract: W2, 6-months
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid Schedule)
Pay Range: $50-55/hour DOE
Brief Summary:
This role involves designing and administering human resources policies and procedures across multiple functional areas, collecting and analyzing HR data, and providing recommendations to management. The HR Generalist will support finance, security, legal, and HR teams, and be responsible for performance management, employee relations, and complex investigations. This is a temporary backfill for a full-time employee on a short-term assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and administer HR policies and procedures covering multiple functional areas
- Collect and analyze HR data to make recommendations to management
- Oversee and establish procedures for paperwork completion and internal communications
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers
- Support performance management and employee relations processes
- Handle complex investigations and high-risk cases
- Provide policy interpretation and corrective action guidance
- Manage casework through a case management system
- Conduct team meetings and stakeholder management
Requirements:
- 8-10+ years of experience in an HR generalist or business partner role
- Experience interfacing with executives and stakeholders
- Expertise in performance management, employee relations, and complex investigations
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Preferred experience with Salesforce and supporting corporate organizations
