We seek an experienced supply chain professional to lead and optimize key functional areas, including materials procurement, production scheduling, inventory management, warehousing, and inbound/outbound transportation. Your expertise will be crucial in driving high performance and ensuring the entire company delivers outstanding, efficient, and cost-effective service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization with excellent communication skills.
- Leverage data-driven methodologies to establish, monitor, and enhance departmental KPIs.
- Lead the supply chain team by clearly communicating root causes, countermeasures, risks, deviations, and solutions to potential challenges, ensuring effective resolution and adherence to the sales budget.
- Guide the purchasing team in continuous improvement initiatives to monitor supplier performance, implement corrective actions, and ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved in alignment with the global sourcing strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing to forecast demand and plan production schedules accordingly.
- Optimize and monitor raw material strategies in support of working capital gains while maintaining appropriate levels of flexibility.
- Ensure seamless integration of engineering changes into production schedules and supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with production, finance, and other departments to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Collaborates and supports the timely implementation of strategic sourcing and product development initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Leadership experience in a similar role, ideally within the Electronics sector.
- Proactively formulates activities, sets direction, and prioritizes tasks with minimal management oversightStrong people management skills.
- Demonstrates clear, fact-based communication and excels in collaborative team environments.
- Capable of communicating/articulating issues, ideas, plans, and proposals to Sr. Management and individual contributor levels of the organization
- Proven ability to engineer analytical and production ‘tools’ to address supply chain problems
- Ability to manipulate data through spreadsheets, word, and presentation software.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a high SKU and variability environment.
- Demonstrated track record of change management and a promoter for continuous improvement, never satisfied with the status quo. Creative and strategic thinking and planning
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Supply Chain experience with at least 3 years’ experience leading a planning/purchasing/supply chain organization.
- Extensive MRP / systems knowledge and implementation experience.
- Professional supply chain certification preferred (ie. CPIM / CPSM)
