Job Summary:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all maintenance work is completed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program that includes preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance work to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including work orders, equipment histories, and maintenance schedules.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that all expenses are within budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that maintenance work does not interfere with normal operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in the maintenance department.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to address equipment failures and other emergencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or proven experience in Maintenance Management
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance-related software.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on call for emergencies.
Physical Demands:
- The Maintenance Manager may be required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time, as well as climb ladders, stairs, or scaffolding.
- The position may also require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other physically demanding tasks.
Working Conditions:
The Maintenance Manager will work primarily in an indoor environment, but may be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions. The position may also require working in confined spaces, noisy environments, and around hazardous materials. The Maintenance Manager may be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
