The Clinical Scientist will support various aspects of Clinical Development, encompassing assessment of unmet medical needs, evaluation of disease states, study design, protocol development, study oversight, data review/interpretation, and overall support for drug development initiatives. The role will contribute to advancing the company's pipeline. The candidate will possess a solid understanding of Drug Development principles and collaborate effectively with pharmaceutical development, regulatory affairs, clinical operations, data analysis, and reporting teams.
This role will be focused in support clinical studies in indications including Alzheimer's, depression and ADHD.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the overall clinical development strategy for assigned assets or programs as a key member of the project team.
- Provide scientific and technical input on clinical studies, including disease assessment, study design, conduct, and data analysis.
- Collaborate on study conceptualization and protocol development in coordination with the project team.
- Offer cross-functional support to clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls).
- Assist in CRO, site, and vendor selection to support study execution.
- Contribute to the development of trial execution strategies for specific indications.
Qualifications:
- PhD or MD/PhD in a scientific discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in the Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical Industry.
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical development in neurology and/or psychiatry.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and ICH/GCP.
