HPS seeks a Catalyst Scientist to accelerate HeatPathTM product development and demonstration in green chemical and fuels synthesis. This opportunity has strong potential for professional growth, including equity-bearing positions in future spin-out companies.
You will have a Ph.D. and 5+ years of experience in catalyst development and testing in an industrial setting. You need to excel with verbal and written communication skills to lead teams and develop technical rapport with customers. You will be comfortable driving product development projects and making decisions within a growth-focused, fast-paced, challenging, and self-directed environment. This is a highly collaborative position, requiring active guidance of a lab team, collaboration in setting and executing strategies for growth, and interactions with technical experts around the world.
You will report directly to the CEO of HeatPath Solutions, with the ability to inform and implement product, business, and spin-out company strategies. You will be responsible for the technical execution of commercial and government projects, with exposure to a broad community of innovation-minded players.
Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Other Requirements: U.S. citizenship or permanent residency. 5+ years of experience in heterogeneous catalysis and chemical process engineering. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.
