RBI Implementation Engineer would assist the Capital Project Groups within the Refinery.
Plan, monitor and coordinate all technical and administrative matters relating to Integrity Management Program for all Company assets which include Production Operations and New Development Projects via implementation of inspection, failure analysis, corrosion mitigation and QA/QC programs.
Plan and implement strategies for the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) program at Company facilities for all assets mainly critical static equipment, vessels, process piping, pipelines and structures via a structured and efficient inspection and monitoring program to ensure integrity compliance for the facilities in a cost-effective manner.
• Review and develop strategies for inspecting critical static equipment and facilities as well as manage a database to measure, monitor and analyses pertinent parameters.
• Develop and optimize Risk Based Inspection (RBI) strategy of process piping, pressure vessel and PSV to ensure the integrity of the equipment is always maintained in a cost-effective manner.
Responsible to prepare Inspection Work Pack as per annual RBI Inspection plan.
• Set-up and manage RBI database to record and manage data collected from the inspection
• Perform RBI screening and detailed RBI analysis (API 581 qualitative and quantitative).
• Prepare and maintain work instructions and procedures.
• Responsible for the development of written schemes of examination (WSE)
• Supervise the fieldwork to capture the inspection data onsite and tabulate the database into RBI inspection database or “Company CMMS system” for corrosion analysis and establishment of future inspection requirement.
• Monitor anomaly registered from Inspection Findings and track the corrective action and closure timely.
• Continuously improve inspection program and efficiency via introduction of new inspection techniques with minimal disruption to production facility which offers a safer, faster, accurate and cost effective execution.
• Execute the RBI Program and RBI Inspection Budget to ensure expenditure is within planned and approved values.
• Assist in execution of Asset Integrity Management (AIM) Program with various disciplines and liaison with AIM vendor.
• Provide budget estimation for annual Work Program & Budget (WP&B) related to RBI Inspection Program.
• Prepare and present monthly Forecast, Accrual and VOWD, for relevant work program.
• Plan and coordinate inspection programs via NDT inspection services to support other disciplines to meet RBI requirement and statutory and regulatory bodies, as applicable.
• To assist to develop Contracting Strategies and Tender Documents and liaise with Contracts & Procurement (C&P) for new tenders and participate in tender evaluation.
Job requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
Knowledge of PCMS
