Job title: Risk and Controls Expert – VP/SVP
Duration: 06+ Months
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 Days onside)
Responsibilities:
• Supports planning, directing, and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
• Directs the identification of risks that impact program delivery and ensures mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
• Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
• Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work.
• Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities, understand the program schedule and key milestones, and receive schedule status regularly.
Qualifications:
• 15+ years of extensive experience in the Risk and Controls domain
• Should demonstrate Critical thinking, Problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality & attention to detail.
• Working understanding of Enterprise Risk Management
• Excellent interpersonal relationships with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across business and functions
