Job Summary:
The Technical Services Representative will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients food and beverage manufacturing customers, with a specific focus on breading and batter products. This position is based in La Mirada, CA, and involves 25% travel. The primary responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, commercializing new mixes, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food manufacturing, particularly with breading and batter products, and will possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This role requires a customer-focused individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring high customer satisfaction and product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to breading and batter products.
- Work with new and existing customers to commercialize new mixes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their technical needs promptly and effectively.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and satisfactory resolutions.
- Educate clients on product usage, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams regarding product usage and issues.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical input during the sales process.
- Assist in the development of training materials for both internal teams and clients.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss product performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in food manufacturing. Breading and batter experience is required.
- Proven track record of resolving technical issues and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong technical knowledge of breading and batter products and industry standards.
