Job Title: Senior Superintendent

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects or overseeing multiple smaller projects. This role is crucial to ensuring project success and maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage one large-scale project valued at $150 million or more, with minimal supervision from the General Superintendent.
- Alternatively, oversee 2-3 smaller projects ranging from $20 to $40 million, managing a team of Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents.
- Experience with ground up commercial construction / Industrial ground up construction.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site activities, including subcontractors and construction crews.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions as needed.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Client and Stakeholder Relations:
- Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Address and resolve any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects or multiple smaller projects.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with reputable construction companies.
- Certifications related to construction management or safety.
