Contract Staffing Specialist

They are hiring a Staffing Specialist with a background in recruitment to attract and hire hourly manufacturing talent for the company’s oilseeds processing sites. In this role, the candidate will apply their advanced sourcing skills to locate and engage passive candidates, securing key talent for our organization. This person will act as a highly consultative talent advisor, bringing external market insights to hiring managers and HR Business Partners to meet our client’s talent needs and enhance their recruitment strategies.
This is a fast-paced, dynamic role within an energetic and inclusive team, where innovative thinking is encouraged. Focus:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, gaining a deep understanding of team dynamics, cultural fit, and the skills and experiences necessary for business success.
- Act as an ambassador, enhancing our employer-of-choice brand.
- Apply knowledge of the competitive landscape to develop effective recruiting strategies for open positions.
- Use various sourcing methods to discover and attract top-tier, diverse talent.
- Oversee the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, relationship management, offers, and candidate closing.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers and candidates regarding the status of the recruitment process.
- Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners to fulfill the organization's talent requirements.
- Ensure an efficient hiring process and maintain quality pipeline metrics through the ATS.
Skill Set:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing the entire recruitment process.
- Proven proficiency in directly sourcing and attracting talent.
- Strong consulting and highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prior agency experience is a plus.
- Experience developing targeted sourcing strategies for niche roles and challenging talent markets, particularly in attracting talent across North America into manufacturing roles.
- Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills, integrity, follow-through and problem-solving abilities.
- Extensive experience in relationship management and exceptional closing skills.
- A proactive self-starter and "dot-connector" who sees the big picture and drives processes to achieve desired outcomes.
