The Associate Business Analyst will work with the Product and Dev teams to support the implementation of departmental initiatives. Within the systems development life cycle, the Associate Business Analyst will take an active role in the business and technical aspects of design and problem resolution and act as a liaison between the project and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Eliciting, documenting, reviewing, and obtaining approval of business and requirements from key stakeholders using industry standard methods
- Conducting requirements gathering sessions; analyzing requirements gathered; identifying, documenting, and validating system requirements for continuous integration and deployment
- Creating requirements documentation such as: Use cases, Screen prototypes, Specifications, and adhering to pre-established templates and utilizing a requirements management tool
- Performing a gap analysis of COTS applications and their ability to meet implementation requirements
- Developing and presenting justifications for system or business process requirements
- Analyzing quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions
- Evaluating and providing feedback on vendor deliverables and/or artifacts throughout the project life cycle
- Creating or improving existing templates for the business analysis functions
- Providing other business analysis support as required
Qualifications
- 1-2 years' experience working on projects as a Business Analyst
- Client focused business and requirements analysis experience and documentation
- Experience conducting business process analysis and optimization in a technology environment
- Creating requirements documentation
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred
