Construction Project Manager - Waterford, NY
Must be onsite full time for 12+ month contract
Pay rate: $60+ per hour, based on experience
Mon-Fri; 1st shift (OT as needed)
Required Background:
- Chemical processing or oil & gas preferred
- Commercial contruction background
- US Citizenship or Green Card required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar, preferred
- 6+ years of technical/engineering professional experience.
- Field experience. Mfg equipment install / piping install experience.
- Experience managing capital projects.
- Work experience in a chemical processing facility and/or oil & gas industries, nice to have.
- Experience with SAP project, maintenance, and purchasing transactions.
- Experience in execution of projects from inception, design and engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning in an operating plant.
- Familiarity with project engineering stage-gate workflows and recognized industry standards and practices such as those of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Construction Industry Institute (CII).
- Working knowledge of PSM (process safety management) processes and systems.
