Our shipping / receiving / inventory department is looking for a particularly able individual with successful, relevant experience join our operation. Hours are 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime on evenings and Saturdays during busy seasons and at month-end.
The Job:
- Receiving and inspecting all inbound and returned product and equipment upon receipt from vendors, customers, 3PL Warehouses, or partners
- Sorting, Cleaning and Testing returned goods as per the documented Back to Stock process
- Working with events staff to prepare outbound event shipments and support inspection upon return
- Use of ERP and CRM Systems to update and complete order transactions and back to stock procedures
- Ordering and organizing indirect materials for facility use
- Maintaining accurate inventory (FIFO) and supporting physical cycle count activities
- Preparing return stock for addition to inventory – accuracy in categorizing and labeling product
- Preparing the shipping area by assembling shipping materials (e.g. boxes, tape)
- Packing equipment into our boxes exactly per received orders
- Since of urgency around daily, weekly, monthly deadlines, included unexpected and unforeseen urgent needs from the business
- Reviewing product as the last level of quality control before it ships
- Following procedures and processes each and every time as per our Quality Management System
- Strong attention to details
- Verifying / matching orders to packing slips
- Carefully handling / filing documentation (e.g. packing slips)
- Preparing FedEx and UPS labels (we use both services) and interacting with delivery folks
- Stacking outgoing orders on palettes for pickup and ensuring orders go out daily
- Prioritize tasks to make sure it all gets done
- Ability to adapt, communicate and have fun in fast paced environment!
Our Dream Candidate:
- Two years of relevant shipping or service tech support experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Accurate and detail oriented at all times
- Ability to work under pressure on extremely tight timelines
- Highly reliable and able to work independently
- Always neat, clean, and orderly (we adhere to FDA and other regulations)
- A keen eye for quality control
- Adheres to rules and regs, processes and procedure
- Able to quickly learn new software since we have our own system
- Understands and can use databases including accurately entering data
- Familiarity with both UPS and FedEx systems
- Physical strength to lift items up to 50lb. throughout the day
- Ability to operate small business/industrial machines (e.g. label maker, tape dispensers, pallet jack)
