Estimator – Civil & Infrastructure Construction
Location: New Rochelle, NY
Salary: $100,000 - $225,000 + Project-Based Bonuses
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Civil and Infrastructure General Contractor based in New Rochelle, New York. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting a range of exciting projects across the city, including civil, infrastructure, and public works initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and infrastructure construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop accurate project scopes and budgets.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to ensure thorough understanding of project requirements.
- Solicit subcontractor bids and develop strong vendor relationships to achieve competitive pricing.
- Present estimates and cost analysis to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor project budgets and provide updated cost estimates as projects progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator within the General Contracting (GC) environment.
- Strong understanding of civil construction projects, including roads, utilities, infrastructure, and site development.
- Proven ability to work on complex, high-value projects.
- Experience with estimating software and tools commonly used in construction.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of local New York City construction codes and regulations is a plus.
