As Project Engineer (MDE), you will support nuclear & radiation engineering projects. This role involves creating technical documents, participating in all phases of custom engineering projects, and leading post-production and factory acceptance testing. You will also provide follow-up engineering support to customers, which may include onsite training or commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, 3-5 years of experience, and basic knowledge of nuclear radiation characteristics and instrumentation. Strong computer skills and the ability to work with low-level radioactive materials are essential, along with a willingness to travel up to 20%.
Responsibilities include providing technical support for RMS projects, conducting acceptance and qualification testing, and overseeing system configuration and installation. You will assist with project negotiation, execute test procedures, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical support to customers both onsite and remotely. The role also involves evaluating equipment performance, supporting sales and marketing efforts, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Continuous learning through training and seminars is encouraged to enhance technical expertise.
