Pay Range
$80,500.00-$110,700.00 Annual
This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

Job Summary
The Industrial Controls Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical control systems and electrical power distribution in an industrial setting. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical schematics, control circuits, and automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and ensuring the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment used in manufacturing and production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.
- Install, maintain and repair electrical power distribution wiring, conduit, transformers etc.
- Interpret electrical schematics and control circuit diagrams to diagnose issues and ensure proper installation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new control systems and update existing ones.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions to restore functionality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Train and mentor junior electricians and technicians on control system operations and safety practices.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations for future reference and compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, VFDs, HMIs, and other control system components.
- Familiarity with national and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and other departments.
- A commitment to ongoing education and staying current with technological advancements in the field.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or an associate degree in electrical technology.
- Relevant certifications such as a journeyman or master electrician license are preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various industrial environments.
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Dexterity to handle tools and components with precision.
