We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components for electric vehicles. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of electrical systems meets performance, reliability, and efficiency goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for electric vehicles, including battery systems, power electronics, motor controllers, and vehicle charging systems.
- Conduct simulations, analyses, and testing to optimize electrical system performance and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing teams to integrate electrical systems into vehicle platforms.
- Support prototype builds and testing phases, troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues as they arise.
- Evaluate new technologies and innovations in electric vehicle electrical systems to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Participate in design reviews, providing technical insights and recommendations to enhance product design and performance.
- Document design specifications, test results, and engineering changes to maintain comprehensive project records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) in electrical design and development, preferably within the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical).
- Solid understanding of electric vehicle architecture, including battery systems, power electronics, and motor control.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) for electrical system analysis and optimization.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and safety requirements for electric vehicles (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61851).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
