Job Summary:
As a Master Control QC Operator with our entertainment client, you will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and ensuring the reliability of their channels including live execution of events for news, entertainment, and sports. You be responsible for validating playout functionality in a non-production environment. Maintain and manipulate broadcast automation playlists, execute program/commercial/marketing changes, and support live-event and contingency workflows using cutting-edge software like Amagi Broadcast Automation. You will also execute seamless program, commercial, and marketing changes and provide support for live events and contingency workflows and take ownership of commercial integration, ensuring flawless rolling of commercial breaks during both taped and live programming. You will be contributing to the team which collectively monitors and maintains linear and digital channel streams, ensuring continuous availability and identifying any inconsistencies with keen attention to detail. You will also collaborate with Operation Supervisors and work as a cohesive team to promptly recover from any on-air discrepancies.
Required Skills:
- A high school diploma and relevant certification or associate degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent professional experience
- 5yrs experience as a Master Control operator in a production environment
- A solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements
- Must be willing to work in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey- This position is fully onsite with no ability to work hybrid or work from home
- Must have unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States
